Where will you spend yours?
Everyone has sinned and deserves God’s wrath. We’ve all broken the Ten Commandments whenever we’ve lied, stolen, lusted, coveted another’s goods, or blasphemed His Holy name. If we were to die tonight we would face God and give an account for every deed whether it was good or bad. We would be guilty before Him and spend eternity in Hell, …”where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 8:12).
God has provided a way for us to be redeemed; he sent his Son Jesus as a perfect sacrifice for our sin. After dying a brutal death on the cross, Jesus then rose from the grave, defeating death. All He asks of us is that we repent of our sin and turn to Him, believing that His blood can cleanse us. Through his sacrifice he gives us eternal life in Heaven with Him.
